Doula

We have taught doula training workshops for over 15 years for both Birth Doulas and for Postpartum Doulas. We have turned our birth doula program into a doula certification. This is geared towards out-of-hospital birth.

Classes for Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula can be taken by anyone, whether or not they want to become certified.

Requirements for the Birth Doula Certification:

1. Complete the course "T111 Labor Support (Birth Doula),"
2. Pass the T111 final exam,
3. Attend the in-person skills training, and
4. Document attendance as doula at three births within 1 year of the in-person skills training.

If all requirements are NOT met within one year, the student must re-take the course for a repeat fee of $20.
