T101 Overview of Midwifery

In this class we will learn about what a midwife is and what she does. We will talk with practicing midwives about the challenges and inspirations they face in their work.  We will discuss the different kinds of midwives, their education and training and legal status across the USA and world.  We will discuss the Certified Professional Midwife Credential in depth and go over the details of how to become a CPM and how Holistic Birth Institute helps student midwives attain their goal of becoming a CPM.
